Hockey Helps The Homeless

Impact Coaches Corporate Social Responsibility – Hockey Helps the Homeless

Impact Coaches is passionate about ending homelessness in Canada and we have proudly sponsored Hockey Helps The Homeless for the last 5 years. 

We believe in the mission Hockey Helps The Homeless has set forth and through our Impact Hockey League, we play with purpose to provide our local partners and communities the supports and resources they need to thrive. We're proud to partner with Hockey Helps The Homeless to help ensure every Canadian has a safe place to call home.

Since its inception, Hockey Helps The Homeless has granted over $24 million locally to partner agencies in communities across Canada. These funds support emergency shelters, transitional housing, and mentorship programs for people of all ages and backgrounds who are experiencing homelessness, and creating long-term solutions to end homelessness across the country.

Teams from the Impact Hockey League will once again participate in the Hockey Helps The Homeless Peel Region Tournament on Friday, March 22nd, 2024, supporting two deserving organizations working to end homelessness in their communities: Regeneration Outreach and Armagh.

Regeneration Outreach

Regeneration Outreach serves men and women living in extreme poverty or those who are at-risk of, or experiencing homelessness. They provide hot and hearty meals, and essential supports including healthcare and hygiene, clothing, and skills classes, such as culinary arts, community gardening and social integration – all in a safe and caring environment.
Impact Coaches Corporate Social Responsibility – Armagh

Armagh

Armagh is a safe haven in Peel Region for families transitioning due to domestic violence. While there are many emergency shelters for women and their families across the Greater Toronto-Hamilton Area, Armagh is the only second stage supportive housing organization serving Peel Region's more than 1.5 million residents. With its 9 affordable 1 & 2 bedroom apartments, Armagh supports approximately 18 families and 30-35 children each year.
