Impact Coaches | Sandra Oliver

Sandra Oliver, MBA

Founder

Sandra launched Impact Coaches Inc. in 2003 because she wanted to create an organization built around helping people excel at work. Sandra is passionate about developing relationships with clients and understanding deeply how their businesses and industries work so she can deliver strategic insights that inspire positive change. Impact has since grown to serve large, multi-national corporate clients across the globe and Sandra feels lucky to be able to make a difference not only in elevating and energizing talented leaders as they cultivate their careers, but entire organizations as they grow, evolve, and flourish.

Before launching Impact Coaches, Sandra held corporate HR leadership roles across North America, where she successfully built and developed experienced recruitment and full senior HR teams, and led HR intranet and HRIS system implementations. Today, as an experienced business leader and certified coach, Sandra works with Impact’s key senior clients and their teams to develop their most strategic talent programs and succession plan strategies.

An avid volunteer in her community, Sandra has served as Chair of the Board and Chair of the Honorary Board for Dress for Success in Toronto. Sandra is a member of the Forbes Coaching Council and was recognized in PROFIT/Chatelaine’s ranking of Canada's Top Female Entrepreneur-run firms for 2013, 2014 and 2015.

To relax, Sandra enjoys spending time at the cottage, swimming and taking long walks in the forest, often with Hank, the family dog.

What our clients are saying about Sandra

“Sandra knows me and the firm very well, so we were able to get very pointed on both my own skill development, but also in how I navigate within the firm. Those two things collided to really allow us to see big strides in my ability to elevate and get out of the weeds. That translated into an enhanced brand, both for the account, and for my personal brand within the firm. This has benefited me, my team and my client.”

“Sandra, she did an incredible job of leveraging our trust and applying it to a more role-based style of coaching. She walked in my shoes, but also in this new ecosystem of Covid, which was incredible. Sandra connected my development into the changing sand. It wasn’t static. I was building new relationships, with new objectives and all within the construct of my established role. It really was so impactful to see how she did that. She plays a long-term trust game.”

“I do think that she is always telling me what I need to hear, not what I want to hear.”

When he’s not working, Antoine enjoys playing all sports – but mostly tennis, aikido, and functional weight training to stay fit; reading anything related to integral theory, psychology, philosophy, and brain/body science; cooking; playing guitar and piano; and spending time in meditation and contemplation.

What our clients are saying about Antoine

“I was expecting some easy tricks to help me feel better and get more focused, but Antoine helped me realize that you really need to really dig that up from deep down inside yourself. Right now, I feel more deeply connected and focused on my goals than before.”

“The thing about working with Antoine is that he doesn’t try to reinvent me. Everything we talked about was already in me. I liked that. It was more about getting me to think about things differently and getting me to understand myself better which has helped me a lot and in a long-term way.”
