Leadership team assessments: Improving dynamics and elevating performance

We worked with a leadership team at a large healthcare network. The group included several members who had been on the team for decades, as well as brand-new leaders. The team needed help reconciling their different working styles to work together more effectively.
The challenge
Many of the leaders were strong subject matter experts but lacked experience in executive roles. The CEO wanted to see the team work together more effectively, while also elevating in their individual roles.
The approach
We administered two assessment tools to each team member: one focused on personality traits and the second on leadership behaviours. Our coaches debriefed each team member on their individual assessments and then brought everyone together for a half-day session to discuss how the different personality and behavioural types could inform and enhance the leadership team dynamic.
We also provided the CEO with coaching tips and a high-level overview of each team member, allowing her to better support them in development conversations.
The results
