Cate Gregory is a senior coach and consultant with 25 years of experience in Executive Coaching, Project Management, Change Management, Systems Implementation, Business Process Improvement, Strategy Alignment and Organizational Studies and Analyses. She was a Senior Principal at The Clearing providing executive coaching and strategy consulting to leaders across the federal government. She previously led the National Security Business Unit for SRA’s Touchstone Consulting Group, managing a $8M+ portfolio. Her past clients include the NGA, OSD, USDA, DOE, Department of the Treasury, The City of New York, and the State of Ohio.
As an executive level coach, Cate supports leaders and organizations that are undergoing change and transformation. She applies her experience consulting to private industry and all levels of government—including local, state, and federal agencies—to tackle technically and socially complex issues. Cate helps clients identify and address the fundamental challenges to their personal and organizational success. She leaves her clients with the tools, mindsets, methodologies and confidence to achieve their desired outcomes. Her coaching experience includes working with emerging and seasoned federal leaders, corporate executives, management consultants, and non-profit leaders. Coaching clients include AbbVie Inc., Veterans Administration, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, CACI, Inc., Taproot Foundation, and others.
Cate has a bachelors degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and received her CPCU and ICF Certification in executive coaching from Georgetown University. She is certified in The Leadership Circle Profile 360 Assessment tool, the DiSC Personality Assessment tool, and the Drexler/Sibbet Team Performance Model. She is also a certified instructor and key speaker for Trusted Advisor Associates.
